Jumeirah
Jumeirah: the back story
Neighbourhood guide
About Jumeirah: the back story
Jumeirah is the long coastal neighbourhood between the old city and Umm Suqeim: villa streets, public beaches such as Kite Beach and La Mer, Jumeirah Mosque, and Madinat Jumeirah facing Burj Al Arab.
Beaches
Kite Beach and La Mer are public beaches with promenades and cafés.
Eating
Orfali Bros (Two MICHELIN Stars), Three Bros and Sufret Maryam share Wasl 51; Tasca and Il Ristorante – Niko Romito are in the beach resorts.
Lunch at Wasl 51, then sunset at Kite Beach.
Our advice: visit Jumeirah Mosque in the morning, then follow the coast south.
